Chapter Two
January 4th, 2009 (The day before my birthday)
I woke up like any normal day. One more day, I thought to myself. Tomorrow was the first day of school after the winterbreak and I was turning 18, and yet my parents were still treating me like crap. Always buggin me about how horrible my grades were in school and junk. After they left, my 13 year old neighbor, Gregory, came over to play some Super Smash Bros. on the Gamecube. This was the one game I dedicated my life to.
Gregory: Ah bullshit!!!
Alan: Hahaha, sorry man I just had to do it.
Gregory: I don't know how the hell you could do the down spike with Donkey Kong.
Alan: Years of training my friend.
Gregory: Here let me be Sheik and we'll have a rematch.
Alan: IT's ON SON!!! Hahaha
I have to say that his skills with Sheik had improved, but he was too fast to fight a slow character like Donkey Kong. The round lasted for about 3 minutes. We were both down to our last life.
Gregory: This is the end DK!!!
Alan: Donkey!!!! PUNCH!!!!
His character Sheik went flying away to the distance.
Gregory: Aw....aw....NO!!!
We both laughed and hi-fived each other.
Gregory: I'm goin on a bathroom break. BRB
Alan: Take your time dude, there's more pwning coming your way.
Gregory: Shut up! Hahaha
He walked away to the bathroom.
I still was laughing a little at the TV screen. "Oh man, against all odds, I can still manage to win against a cheap character." I thought to myself. Then...I felt a vibration in my pocket. My cell phone had a text message, it was from a number I haven't added yet. "Probably just one of my friends sending me weird pics." I thought to myself. I opened up the message.....it read....

For some reason, my heart started pounding. The first person that came to my mind was Michelle. I mean....it does say "chelle" which is in her name. Either that, or it was just one of my friend's nicknames. What are the chances of a girl like her texting me? I even got this phone just a few weeks ago. No No No, it must be some kind of prank, I thought to myself. I didn't know how to respond to that. But just to be cautious, I texted back...
